Sophia's Birthday Was a Smash!
I was so excited to get a note from a referred client asking for a cake smash! These are one of my favorite shoots because honestly who doesn't love cutie pies like Sophia, and better yet watching their first experience eating a cake! My number one question with this kind of shoot is why can't adults do this!?
Sophia's turning one, so we made sure to get some super cute photos of her and her parents before she delved into her cake. It was actually hilarious because she was way more into the Cheerios she was eating prior than the cake! Her Dad even jokingly said "we should've just given her a bagel instead!" This is one of those things that you really only can capture once and leading up to a first birthday is the best time to do it!
I've had several cake smashes like this in which the clients use the photos as the child's first birthday invite, or as gifts for grandparents, other family and friends. It's perfect! No matter if the child loves the cake or could care less about it, you can't find cuter pictures than these!
